UNT Colonization Fall 2010 RUSH ! We will officially start our Colonization efforts two weeks after the existing fraternities finish their Fall Rush. Yes, a disadvantage. We need leads and referrals on current and incoming UNT students. All DFW Phi Tau’s are asked to share the names of friends’ and neighbors’ sons who are enrolling at UNT in late August. Ask any recent graduates that you may know, who they know that will be going to UNT. We will attempt a pre-enrollment social contact to introduce the advantages of becoming Charter-members of the new Leadership fraternity. If you have any referrals please send them to Mike Casasanta at

Sorority Challenge-We plan to present a challenge to three leading sororities to provide leads and referrals with the one providing the most winning a cash prize for the charity of their choice. Mentor volunteers- A distinguishing advantage of becoming a UNT Phi Tau is that each pledge will be paired with a local alumnus. WE NEED YOU!The value of mentoring is very satisfying and will help promote the modern fraternity experience to rushees and their parents. As those of us in the PLP Mentoring program have learned, we receive as much value as we bring to our mentees. Please add your name to the list. Board of Governors-Consider joining a nucleus of alumni leaders who will provide this direction. Training- Building Men of Character programs on the UNT campus. National Support- Tim Hudson, Director of Chapter Services, Mike CasaSanta, Expansion Coordinator and Ray Sophi, Expansion Consultant will have on campus roles during the Fall Rush and organization. We need you to help us make this Colony a success! |
